sometimes I still look in all the places around the house where u used 2 hide - by the basket beside the fireplace, in the pantry, under the footrest in my office, & especially under my bed, perhaps hoping that some fairy magic will work its way into my adult life & manifest you in one of those places, hoping against all hope that I will lift the bedskirt & see your tan brown shell self sleeping wondrously underneath once more.
